Tips that Matter in Zelda: Breath Of The Wild DLC 2 Champions Ballad

I know y’all have been waiting for the next instalment of Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC pack 2. This DLC is called The Champions Ballad. This DLC goes into more details about the Champions and gives you a little bit more information about them as characters in the game. Unfortunately, to get to this DLC in-game you must first complete saving the four divine beasts quest-line and it plays a crucial part in the way this story is told in the game.

With the completion of the quest, you’ll get a new powerful weapon that KOs your enemies in one hit. I know, right? Sounds too good to be true? Well, let’s find out!

One-Hit Obliterator

This one-hit-wonder weapon given to Link in the game is called the One-Hit Obliterator. You can find this weapon in the resurrection shrine where you first wake up in the game. Living up to its name, this weapon will be able to take out any enemy in one hit. You’re pretty much Mike Tyson putting enemies to sleep as soon as they’re in striking range. But there is a downside.

When in use, no matter how many hearts you have, you’ll be reduced one-quarter of a heart. If you take in any damage after using this weapon, it’s Game Over. Another weakness is that you can only use it in the Great Plateau. So, if you had grand plans of conquering the game with it, think again.

Another way to look at it is that while you’ll be able to one-hit enemies, they can also one-hit you. I guess that’s a fair trade-off; it makes it more fun to play and also adds a twist to the game mechanic.

New Shrines

Once you obtain the Obliterator, you’ll be given four separate quests that are near the divine beasts. When you complete one of those quests, you will then be given four more shrines to conquer. In total, you’ll be given twelve new shrines, adding in more hours of fun gameplay. While doing this, you’ll learn the story of each champion, which I think is quite fun because everyone has their favourite. My favourite champion is Daruk.

With each completion, you fill in the missing verses for Kass the Bard which will tell you more about the champions and Princess Zelda. Once you defeat the shrines and their bosses, you are given a final dungeon and boss. With the completion of the final boss in this DLC, you will be given a very special reward in the game.

Powerful New Items and Armour

Probably one of the greatest satisfactions in Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC is, once you’ve completed all the quests and beat the final boss for the DLC, Link is given The Master Cycle Zero. This is a joy to drive and the fuel needed for this machine is apple, wood, flint, bokoblin parts, etc…the list goes on.

What’s great about this motorcycle is that no matter how high you fall, you won’t be damaged. Another wonderful thing about this unique tool is that it’s good at ramming enemies and can send them flying. Besides the awesome motorcycle you win in the DLC, you will also get various new armour.

The Phantom Ganon Armour is so cool that I might have Link wear it all the time. Aside from all the cool new armour, you will also find in treasure chests the Ancient Bridle and Ancient Saddle which you can equip on your horse.

Using the Ancient bridle will increase the number of spurs the horse can use to speed up. So, if you already thought you had a fast horse, putting this on will make it the fastest horse in Hyrule. And adding the Ancient Saddle to the mix will allow you to call your horse from about anywhere in Hyrule as long as there’s space.

Tip of the day

Did you know the game will also travel around with wolf Link? That’s if you have the wolf link amiibo from Zelda The Twilight Princess game. Wolf Link comes with three hearts but I’ve been told the way you can increase this to up to 20 hearts is by playing the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD with the amiibo. So, are you up for the challenge?

Conclusion

With this last DLC, the Expansion Pass is finally complete. The expansion will give you two DLCs The Master Trials and The Champions Ballad. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild game is a game that I always enjoy playing. Even though sometimes Master Mode in the game is on a whole another level.

Do you think you have what it takes to complete the game in Master Mode? Here’s an even tougher thought, do you think you can Nuzlocke Breath of the Wild?
