Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has a new trailer and a new protagonist – RIVET! This new trailer is absolutely amazing-looking and has made us want to go out and buy a Playstation 5 when it launches. The game arrives on June 11th and it is looking incredible.
I was on the fence before, not now. You’ll also meet Rivet, a one-handed Lombax resistance fighter who appears to have a beef with “Nefarious”, a nasty-sounding, high-contrast villain.
R&C: RA will bring you back to familiar destinations (Torren IV and Sargasso) as well as to the brand-new Nefarious City location, presumably named after the game’s main antagonist.
That’s not all of it, though. There’s some exciting new music in the game too. Mark Mothersbaugh has been tapped to provide the soundtrack and from what we’ve heard so far, he’s delivered the goods.
Last, and certainly not least, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is the focus of the next Playstation State of Play starting April 29th, 2021! You are going to get to see 15 minutes of fresh gameplay starting at 2 pm PST and 5 pm EST.
This is definitely on my must-play list!
