In terms of Capture The Flag, teams will either engage in fast play or large team fights in order to take the enemy’s flag and return it to their own team’s base, earning a point. The match is decided by the first three captures.
It’s a 4v4 game, so if you’re not among pals and can’t communicate, you’ll have to rely on your own judgment to decide whether to defend or attack. 2v2 defense and assault would be the greatest plays. So, here are a few witty hints to assist you out in the game!
01:02 – Team Awareness
The battlefield awareness of the team. If the majority of your team is keeping back, go for the flag; if the majority of your team is attacking, defend. When you get into the game, it’s quite self-evident.
01:09 – Pick-ups and Vehicles
Make a beeline for the unique weaponry and vehicles. If you don’t have communication, hop in a warthog or a mongoose, blast the horn, and tell your squad to jump in. Keep an eye on the weapons and pickups arriving as well, because you know they’re considerably stronger and faster at killing opposing Spartans.
01:25 – Walk, Don’t Run!
When you run and carry the flags, your location on the map is revealed. Walking back to your base will take some time, but it can be beneficial. If you do decide to run, leap and slide from side to side. You will be murdered if you just run in a straight path.
01:39 – Melee
Remember that you may melee with the flag, so fight if you’re being pursued and know that you won’t be able to escape. It can occasionally pay off. You may also hurl grenades and fire your weapons while dropping the flag. You won’t be seen if you stop moving. Get around the corner and shoot two hits, and they’ll be down.
These are only a few easy flag-capture strategies and tactics. They’re rather simple, but not everyone is aware of them. So, ideally, you’ll be able to use the knowledge to your benefit. Now, go collect that flag and have fun!
