With the ever-growing stability of Cyberpunk 2077, interest has renewed and with it comes the necessity for information about the game. As such, I’ve decided to put together a little guide to help those players who enjoy planning the path their RPG character will take prior to playing a game, and then bringing that build into fruition once the game is stable enough to allow them to make the necessary progress.
Patch 1.31 dropped recently and the general consensus is that if you were wary about picking up Cyberpunk at launch because of the reported myriad problems, missing features, and overall buggy nature of the game, well it’s at a stable point right now and certainly worth trying, especially if you can get it at a discount.

The five ‘skill trees’ of V’s progress in Cyberpunk 2077.
The first thing you need to know is that your progress is broken up into five skill trees that you can level up and earn perks from. Those five trees are:
Body
Reflexes
Technical Ability
Intelligence
Cool
The method of progressing through these trees relies on the player performing actions related to each tree. For example, there is a perk branch under the Body skill tree for Athletics, and the simplest way to earn XP for this perk branch is to empty the stamina bar by performing melee attacks. All of the perk branches under the skills trees function similarly. You perform a related action, you earn XP for that branch within the skill tree. Let’s start with the Body skill tree.
Body
Each level of Body (starting from Level 3) will:
Add 5 Health Points.
Add 3 Stamina Points.
Increase damage with fists and Gorilla Arms by 3.
Increase damage with Melee Weapons by 1.5%.
Decrease movement penalty while grabbing an enemy and wielding an HMG by 6%.
Increase movement while grappling on an enemy grapple duration by 5 sec.
