New World brings you 17 different professions. Overwhelmed? Don’t be! New World allows players to level up every profession and every skill you learn will work in conjunction with one another.
Trade skills (professions) allow you to harvest and make resources and materials for crafting in Amazon’s New World. There are 5 gathering trade skills, 5 refining trade skills, and 7 crafting trade skills. Every crafting profession requires materials which can be acquired from refining and/or gathering. And every refining profession requires materials which can be gathered. Gathering can be done anywhere in the open world as long as it has the resources you need. Refining and Crafting can be leveled up by using specific workspaces associated with a specific trade skill.
