Hitman 3 Keep Your Eyes Peeled Trophy Guide / Achievement Guide – Make a target slip and fall while evacuating in a skydiving suit.
Mission: On Top of the World (United Arab Emirates, Dubai)
You get this by completing the Feat Challenge “Flying Monkey Business”. First, you need at least one banana. Having more bananas will make it slightly easier. In the steps outlined here, we’ll come across 2 bananas. It’s recommended that you pick “Meeting Room” as the starting location (if you have sufficient Mastery Level for it). This will spawn you in the Meeting Room on Floor Level 0. A banana is on the table where you spawn. This is optional, as we’ll find another banana in Step 2.
Step 1: Get the Evacuation Keycard from the Security Room on Floor Level 3. There’s a wall safe in this room; the combination is 6927. In the safe is the Evacuation Keycard. An easy way to get there is to aim your camera at the windows in the “Staff Area” (Maintenance Room) on Floor Level 0. This opens the windows and you can hang on the ledge outside and climb up. When you reach Floor 3 with this route, you will run into a lone Penthouse Guard in the corridor. You should subdue him to get his disguise as it allows you to move around the upper levels freely. Then enter the Security Room and open the safe (6927) for the Evacuation Keycard.
Step 2: In the same Security Room, a banana will be on the table next to the sleeping guard. Pick it up and keep it in your inventory.
Step 3: Head upstairs to the Penthouse, Floor Level 4 & 5. Each floor has a card reader (both are connected by a white wire when you hold R1). You must use the Evacuation keycard on both card readers in quick succession. Don’t let too much time pass in between. This will initiate the evacuation sequence.
Step 4: Wait for your targets to put on the skydiving suits for their escape. They will first go to the helipad but this doesn’t matter because they can’t leave this way. They’ll backtrack and put on their skydiving suits automatically. Just stay out of their way and don’t get spotted. You should make a Manual Save when the voice tells you “They’ve Left the Helipad”.
Step 5: Now, the targets are wearing the required skydiving suit and are on their way to jump off the roof. They will always jump off the exact same point. It’s best you follow them all the way to the end the first time to see the exact point where they jump off (which is the edge of the roof). Remember this exact spot where their feet leave the ground for the jump – this is where you’ll want to place the banana. Reload your Manual Save and plant the banana on the floor at the jump-off point. You do this by equipping the banana in your hands and holding L1+R1 (LB+RB) and press TRIANGLE/Y to place the banana when it has a green outline (just aim at the floor). If done correctly, it places the banana peels to make the floor slippery. Throwing the banana will NOT work! You have to place it with L1+R1 . Now, just wait for one of the targets to run into it. You may want to make another Manual Save just before placing the banana so you can reload and readjust if necessary. Having multiple bananas makes it easier because you can cover more ground in banana peels, but one banana works fine if you place it correctly. Remember to place the peels on the very edge of the rooftop where the targets jump down. If you place it too far away from the ledge, some of their guards might step into them instead which destroys your banana peel trap (they are one-use only).
The trophy will unlock immediately when the target slips on the banana peels (before finishing the mission).
