I know what a lot of you are thinking – the rarest drop in Minecraft is the wither skeleton skull or iron from a zombie, but they are not even close. Also, killing a turtle you get seagrass, but if it dies by lightning… you get a bowl. WTF? Well, as rare as these drops are, they are not nearly as rare as the Potion of Invisibility!

Truth is, the rarest drop in Minecraft is the potion of invisibility. It is not a rare Witch Drop, but it is actually dropped by a wandering trader (which is already rare) – taking many real life hours between spawns. But when it switches to night, the wandering trader quaffs an invisibility potion for three seconds – and killing it during this period will have an 8% chance of dropping the extremely rare invisibility potion!
